OLD year 2011 shows New Year 2012 Music

Well it has been sometime since last I  posted anything on this sight , Hopefully I will be able now with winter coming on be able to fill the pages with the great Music we enjoyed last summer at the Port of Friday Harbor. It is a beginning and considering the date an end . I am happy for  the luxury of going through my extensive files to share with you all. Happy Holidays.

We have fabulous musicians awaiting to entertain you.
Our Opening week-end is off with the "Ian McFeron Band",
on Friday Evening.
 Friday evening the music begins at 5pm and goes until 7pm.


AND on Sunday
the "ONE MORE TIME BAND"
Swinging JAZZZZZZ .
The Band begins at 2 pm and plays until 4 pm.

As always we will have an open Mic on Sunday that begins before the bands at noon.

Our weather has been cool yet gorgeous. So remember this is down on the waterfront and cool breezes can be just a bit chilly.

Bring a sweater or a wind breaker just in case. We do have chairs, and picnics are encouraged.

Once again we will be selling our beautiful traveling blankets.
Look for them and buy an exclusive momento from the Port of Friday Harbor.

Summer Open Mic

Once the Music begins we will also begin our season of 10 Open Mics.

Every Sunday beginning at Noon the Mics are open. I have discovered the families that step up to the plate have an unusual opportunity to share their tunes and values with the world of Friday Harbor.

The laid back cruising community make this experience truly remarkable for the young and old.

These coming months is shaping up remarkably. Keep checking these posts.  Our schedule is being prepared for our new season of Summer Concert Series .
  This will be our 11th year of music at the Port of Friday Harbor. I hope you will be able to join us for the free concerts at 'Jack Fairweather Park',  by the Totem poles  at  Friday Harbors waterfront.
Two concerts each week-end beginning in July.
Friday evenings 5 pm  until 7pm
Then again on Sunday afternoon a band begins at 2pm , a nice way to spend the afternoon.
Also every Sunday beginning at noon there will be an OPEN  MIC .... come share your talented family with us.
